Take your family or friends on one of the great paved paths or try something new and check out these great mountain bike trails.

Easy– Crown Point Trail located in Frisco is a 5 mile unpaved trail. This trail is relatively flat and takes about an hour. Rated as easy, this trail is great for beginners and families. As part of the Nordic Center trail system, this trail provides breath-taking views of Lake Dillon, the beaches and provides a great place for a picnic.

Moderate – Mayflower Gulch is just outside Breckenridge near Copper Mountain. This trail is 7 miles long and depending on your pace can take anywhere from one – two hours. This trail is a dirt road that goes past the old town site of Boston. This popular biking trail is home to cabins, wild flowers and a natural amphitheater.

More Moderate/ Difficult– Colorado Trail to Searle / Kokomo Passes. This trail is 17 miles and takes about four to five hours. This trail is mainly above tree line and includes many switchbacks and tundra. With the delicate vegetation that surrounds the area it is best to stay on the trail.

Advanced – Montezuma Loop is a short but more difficult trail. Known for its steep climbs and technical descents this trail is an adrenaline pumper. Parts of this trail are steep and rocky, requiring walking but the views are well worth it. Pass through the General Teller and Wild Irishman Mines, as well as St. John historic town and the town of Montezuma
